It’s time to switch up your vacation vibes with a “Sunny Day” at Slaycation Paradise by developer Affordable Acquisition! The swiftly approaching twin-stick shooter and tower defense game will send players across various Earths that are undergoing apocalypse scenarios. From the norm to the absolute strange, there’s a violent vacation for everyone! Slaycation Paradise is set to release on August 18 for PC and console, but players are welcome to try out the Steam demo here.

Here at Slaycation Paradise, We Provide Only the Best in Apocalyptic Entertainment

Humans are starting to get bored of the same old, sunny vacations of their lives. That’s why at Slaycation Paradise, things are about to change. With the happily accessible ApocaTrips, families can cosmically get away by warping to another Earth where the end is near. Some feature the typical zombie situation, but others include giant snakes, vicious beasts, and evil sex dolls. There’s no shortage of where you can go with ApocaTrips!

Of course, Slaycation Paradise isn’t sending you to the end empty-handed! As a tower defense title, vacationers will be equipped with a wide array of defensive structures and security. This is mainly meant to hold off any incoming forces, but we must also venture into the danger itself. Shoot, loot, build, upgrade, then watch as the chaos unfolds. And if you’re not sold on ApocaTrips, we recommend checking out the playful Sunny Day release trailer that wonderfully shows off the action for Slaycation Paradise.

Slaycation Paradise is open for business on August 18, 2022. It’ll digitally launch for the PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo; any interested folks in physical copies will have to wait until the following month on September 23, 2022. However, it appears that the physical editions only apply to the PlayStation and Switch versions.

Perhaps publisher Merge Games will announce more along the way when the game arrives. In the meantime, we’d love to hear what you thought of the Happy Day trailer for Slaycation Paradise! Which apocalyptic scenario will you be visiting? Let us know!
