Violent crime has always rampaged the world. However, recently, a sleeping woman’s murder was unveiled. Brandon Davis is an Ohio Man who played a hand in the murder of Asiah Slone, a woman he claimed to be his “best friend.” The two were so close that Brandon was even said to call Asiah his sister. Brandon would shoot Slone in her sleep as he would also attempt to get his other friend to finish the job.
Reports from Law and Crime confirm that Brandon Davis had organized the execution of Asiah Slone. Slone had allegedly been in a relationship with Davis’ father that had ended in a rough way. In June of 2024, Asiah was reported missing by her brother. A few weeks later, on July 1st, 2024, Slone’s remains were found. However, her body was unfortunately found decomposing in a trash can in Middletown Ohio. Two suspects were then detained due to their connection to the ongoing murder investigation. Brandon Davis was, of course, one of the suspects, and the other was Perry Hart. Hart is a 59-year-old who was reportedly told to “finish the job” regarding Asiah Slone while she slept. Hart was also told to shoot Slone in the head after Davis had done what he wanted.
A Sleeping Woman’s Murder Unveiled as Ohio Man Brandon Davis Arrested
During the trial, prosecutors stated that on June 7th, 2024, Davis had shot Slone in the head while she slept. However, it was also stated that the initial gunshot wound was not fatal. While Asiah was wounded by the initial shot, Brandon would tell Perry Hart to “Take her downstairs and shut her up.” Prosecutors also said that Davis had held a gun to Hart’s head and asked if he was “With him or against him” on this. Hart would plead guilty to involuntary manslaughter and kidnapping. Hart would also serve as a key witness against Davis.
During the trial, Ohio Man Brandon Davis was called a “Monster,” by Casey Kilgore. Casey was Asiah Slone’s best friend who found her remains. While Davis probably did not believe he was in the wrong, he would still be found guilty of aggravated murder, kidnapping, and illegal firearms possession. The jury who convicted him had deliberated for less than five hours. Brandon was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole in 44 and a half years, plus ten for being a violent repeat offender. Just to be safe, though, another 41 and a half years for the gun charges as well. However, Perry Hart’s sentence is scheduled for March 31st.
