Slender Man is already very popular in our culture since it went viral with its terrifying design that inspired a mob in Minecraft. That is why Blue Isle Studios created Slender: The Arrival in 2013. The story tried to give a background or an explanation of its possible origin. Unfortunately, it didn’t have the acceptance they would have wished for this ghostly creature. On its 10th anniversary, Slender: The Arrival is returning with many improvements in graphics, story, and quality-of-life changes.

Slender: The Arrival’s 10th Anniversary Update Will Feature Unreal Engine 5

Slender: The Arrival 10 Year Anniversary Official Release Date Trailer

Blue Isle Studios launched its Slender: The Arrival 10th Anniversary release date trailer, where you can see some improvements this creature will have in its comeback on October 18. After all this time, the industry has made many graphics improvements, leading to many games trying to modernize their systems. That’s why Slender: The Arrival will use Unreal Engine 5, which means improving lighting and details. The game also will have higher frame rates and resolutions. Besides visual improvements, the game will add more languages so that more players can appreciate the story. A new chapter explaining more of the original game will be added, which is great for those lore hunters.

Fortunately, players with Slender: The Arrival on Steam will get the 10th Anniversary update for free. The game is still at its original price of $9.99, but when the upgrade arrives, it will cost $19.99. For PlayStation 5, Epic Store, and Xbox Series X|S, the price of $19.99 will remain. Sadly, this content will only arrive on next-gen consoles and PCs.

So, if you’ve been looking for an excuse to return to this game, you have it. All that remains is to wait for October 18, which is when the 10th Anniversary update will launch for the abovementioned platforms.
