After a full year of demanding to bring back the gameplay mechanics of Warzone 1, now the developers are doing it with Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer mode. In the recent trailer, we see that there are several new gameplay changes, and Slide Cancel is finally making a return in Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer. This is something that was removed last year after the transition from Warzone 1 to 2.
Modern Warfare 3 Trailer Shows Movement Improvements
Watching the recent video for MW3 Multiplayer mode, most of what we see is the raw skill and ability of the editor. The clip is perfectly edited for a killing and weapon showcasing montage. Other than that, everything looks to be the same as the MW2 on the surface. However, if you pay close attention, you’ll notice the important changes that’ll make a huge difference.
For instance, watch the 1:17 time point of the trailer. This small segment of the video totally focuses on the slide cancel and slide jumping movement abilities added in Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer mode. Also, look at how the player keeps the weapon ready while he’s sliding. This is a pretty crucial addition that makes MW3 gameplay look very similar to MW 2019 and Warzone 1.
In fact, the developers have already mentioned that they’re trying to bring the best gameplay mechanics the players had experienced in the previous Call of Duty games and mix them with the new MW2 to get the best outcome. This is very pleasing to hear and watch in MW3. Even if the game does not look so different from the previous MW2, it’s still worth a shot to see how it has improved gameplaywise during the open beta period.
