A woman in San Francisco, California, has accused a smirking Karen of keying her car following an altercation at a Costco parking lot over a parking spot. Allegedly, the incident was caught on the woman’s bodycam, but the smiling lady and her daughter left the scene before the police arrived.
The incident was posted to TikTok by user karenlekenn. According to her, she had been waiting for a parking spot to become available. As another driver exited the Costco, the Karen is accused of attempting to enter the parking spot herself, even though the TikToker had been waiting before her.
A verbal confrontation ensued, and the content creator finally entered the California store to do some shopping. However, as she was inside, the Karen and her daughter allegedly keyed her car, an incident that was recorded by the car’s dashcam.
In a follow-up video, karenlekenn confronts them after they come back from Costco. Both of them appear to ignore the TikToker, despite the fact that she told the Karen that she “had the video.” The lady acts oblivious to it, just asks, “Of what?“
“Ma’am, the police is coming,” the user told the lady. She, however, didn’t even look at her. The video cuts to both women waving goodbye to the TikToker, with the older Karen saying, “Have a nice day.”
This surface-level “kindness” was called out by karenlekenn, who alleged that Karen had mocked her before she started recording. She even accused both women of using racial slurs against her.
Backlash, Women Identified
Many users were outraged by the incident, with some even identifying the California women in the comments as Antonella and Sabrina Vicino. Reportedly, both women deleted their Facebook accounts after the TikToks were posted.
“She’s so proud of herself!” one user commented, while posting a picture of the woman’s smirk. A second one said, “I hope you called the police and filed a report,” to which karenlekenn confirmed she did. “This woman has got through life never being taught a lesson and that needs to change,” a third one added.
It is unclear if the women involved were arrested following the incident. The TikToker, meanwhile, has not posted an update since.
