It has been a good start to the year for the gaming world. We’ve seen many big games launching with the latest addition to the roster being Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. Many titles are announcing their DLC waves which will let players enjoy these games once more. One of the biggest announcements was for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Now, Sonic’s latest game might have a big announcement too according to some files found for the game. The store page of this title just got an update which might point at the DLC Wave 1 of Sonic Frontiers releasing soon.
Sonic Frontiers DLC Wave 1 might arrive soon according to SteamDB
SteamDB is the place that tracks many of the things inside Valve’s platform. The most notable thing that it tracks is upcoming updates. Sonic Frontiers just got one and some keen-eyed users think it might mean the DLC Wave 1 coming soon. Take this with a grain of salt though as it could mean something small for the game. Still, if we actually get some content for SEGA’s latest game, it would be fantastic. While it got some mixed reviews, fans claim this is the best Sonic game to date and they can’t wait to play more of it.

Sonic Frontiers’ Success Means Bigger Budget and Team for Sonic The Hedgehog
As you might remember, Sonic Frontiers released its roadmap for 2023 which included the DLC Wave 1. While it sounds good, most players are more excited about the new playable characters which might arrive further down the road. Again, we don’t have a set date for any of these things but the fact that the game is getting some movement bodes well. Now, all we can do is wait and hopefully get a DLC Wave 1 announcement for Sonic Frontiers soon. In the meantime, we really recommend the game if you’re a fan of the series. While it has some bad technical issues, the title is pretty enjoyable and a must-play if you like the classic blue hedgehog.
