Endnight Games has announced that Sons Of The Forest will be leaving Early Access and getting an official launch in February 2024. The dropped as an Early Access title in February 2023 and has been receiving a positive reception from fans as Endnight has been building up to a full release. The announcement that the game will be leaving Early Access brings a lot of promise about the additions to the game coming in 2024.
The news about the full launch of Sons Of The Forest comes via the Twitter/X account of Endnight Games. On top of promoting the game’s full release, which is officially slated for February 22nd, Endnight also announces that Shawn Ashmore, the popular actor known for portraying Iceman in the X-Men films and Lamplighter in The Boys, among other major roles, will be voicing Timmy and that the character’s role will be expanded in the fully launched version.
No other details about extra additions coming to Sons Of The Forest in the v1.0 patch have been given at this time. Players are certainly speculating about what else could be coming, and hopefully, Endnight have some big things in the pipeline ready to go in February.
The survival-crafting horror title is currently sitting pretty with “Overwhelmingly positive” reviews on Steam, making it one of the best ways to experience this genre in 2023 alongside titles like 7 Days To Die, Valheim, and Green Hell. A full launch of the game will hopefully also come along with plans for the game to get console ports as it would absolutely be a welcome addition on the Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.
