It’s time for new PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games for you to add to your library and accidentally forget about (and hopefully remember)! This April, the titles will definitely break that habit with broom rides around your favorite magical castle, nostalgic narratives with friends, and even a trip out to the golf course.
The lineup of games being introduced into the service’s catalog this month is expected to be available to play beginning on April 10, with additional titles becoming accessible on the 15th. It’s time to start clearing some space on your console for the following games that you probably have in your backlog!
Everything Coming to PlayStation Plus Extra in April 2025
Hogwarts Legacy (PS4 and PS5)
This month’s PlayStation Plus Extra catalog features Hogwarts Legacy, an immersive open-world game set in the magical universe of the Harry Potter franchise. What sets Legacy apart is that it is a completely unique and standalone game from the films and books. This means that even if you’re unfamiliar with the world of wizards and muggles, you can still enjoy the experience. Players can engage in spellcasting to combat Dark Wizards, fly on broomsticks, and explore Hogwarts in the 1800s. You’ll have the opportunity to create your own wizard, craft potions, and encounter both terrifying and wondrous creatures as you shape the future of the wizarding world.
Blue Prince (PS5)
Blue Prince is a visually stunning puzzle game that relies on unpredictability. Play as the heir to the Mt. Holly manor as you discover the secret of the manor by journeying through shifting rooms to uncover the threads of blackmail and deception. There’s also a part where you need to search for a missing children’s book author. The game is visually stunning, with a 2D quality to it, and successfully manages to trap you in its narrative web.
Lost Records: Bloom & Rage – Tape 2 (PS5)
From the creators of Life is Strange comes Lost Records: Bloom and Rage, a narrative journey through the emotional turmoil of teenage angst and the weird and bizarre. The first episode, Bloom, was included in the February line-up of PlayStation Plus games, and now those players can enjoy the second. This time around, the bonds between Swann, Nora, Autumn, and Kat are stronger than ever before, reeling after the shocking reveal at the end of the previous episode. If the title is anything to go by, this is the second and final part to the game, so remember to strap in!
EA Sports PGA Tour (PS5)
Enhance your digital golf skills with EA Sports PGA Tour, elevating the game with exclusive courses and brand-new customization options. Work towards becoming a Majors champion with your own custom character and preferred shot types to best even the most skilled golfer. With 30 courses to master, the Frostbite engine brings these vibrant and lush environments to life like never before.
Battlefield 1 (PS4)
Despite being called Battlefield 1, don’t think it’s the first game in the franchise! Taking players all the way through surreal battles from France to the Alps to Arabia. Probably the biggest sell, besides the adventure-filled campaign, is the multiplayer, giving you the chance to compete against up to 63 other players. In battle, you’ll have access to air, land, and sea vehicles alongside other vehicles, including tanks, planes, and even horseback.
PlateUp! (PS4 and PS5)
The last game to be included in the PlayStation Plus Premium lineup is PlateUp!, an attractive kitchen management simulator with a twist. Up to four players are building and running a restaurant together, working towards successfully preparing and serving for to customers. There are various different challenges to help keep you on your toes as well as difficult customers to really simulate the horrors of food service in the real world.

Alone in the Dark 2 (PS4 and PS5)
Alone in the Dark 2 continues to follow Edward Carnby through a new mystery in 1923: Derecto, a hell-house. Taking place only three months after the events of the prequel, the 1994 classic is a masterclass in storytelling, lending its influence to games like Alan Wake. You’ll eviscerate evil spirits and come to find exactly what happened to his trusted partner and the kidnapped young girl they were searching for.
War of the Monsters (PS4 and PS5)
We’re going back to the PlayStation 2! War of the Monsters gives you the opportunity to play as your favorite kaiju across three destructible battlegrounds. You can choose between all sorts of iconic monsters and battle to the death in stunning HD.
