We’ve been eagerly waiting for Spiderman Across the Spiderverse for a while now. The movie was set to release in theatres on March 29, 2024, but was revised for a June 2, 2023, release date. Miles Morales is coming back and meeting up with Spidermen from across the Multiverse. Peter B. Parker is also making a return, and Miguel O’Hara 2099, is the leader of the Spidey troop in the new Spiderman trailer.
Spiderman Across The Spiderverse New Trailer
The new trailer for Spiderman Across The Spiderverse dropped today. The release date is set in stone for a theatre release on June 2, 2023. There are lots of easter eggs to look at you can find in the new trailer.
Apparently, Gwen brings Miles Morales into the Multiverse’s Spider Lobby which features loads of Spidermen from across multiple timelines and dimensions. We got to see a glimpse of the rock n’ roll-inspired Spider-punk, who made a debut as an outfit for Insomianc’s Spider-Man. Spiderman 2099 is the leader of this whole multiversal spidey troop.
Miguel O’Hara is stern and commanding and doesn’t think Miles is worthy of the mantle of Spider-man. He drops another easter egg regarding Tom Holland’s MCU, Peter Parker, who messed up the timeline with his wish to Doctor Strange.
Becoming a Spiderman comes with sacrifice. And Miles needs to learn that in Spiderman Across the Spiderverse. From sneak peeks, it appears Jefferson Morales, Miles’ father and respected NY police officer, might have his life on the line. Miles might have to sacrifice his father’s life to keep the Multiverse stable.
According to comics, Jefferson Davis meets his demise, which led to Miles fully embracing the mantle of the Black Spiderman. It appears Jefferson is destined to die in accordance with the timeline. Miles might try to save his father, causing ripples in the Multiverse and upsetting the Multiverse of Spidermen.
