People often say that creativity has no limits, and Floridians are a living example of this. If you thought you had seen everything, one man in Saint Petersburg, Florida, just proved that his engineering skills are a cut above the rest. As you know, the heat waves have been rough this year and are just worsening. Having a car without an AC is one of the worst things that can happen, yet this truck driver just showed us a solution to anyone with that problem. It might not be the cheapest, or safest, or best-looking, or the most ideal, but hey, it works.
User patrickafter1 shared the picture on the Florida subreddit of a “creative engineer” who had some AC issues in his truck. Instead of fixing the actual thing inside the vehicle, he decided to attach an AC to the back window. As you can imagine, this is not the most terrific idea, and it might not be safe. Also, it is quite questionable, with many wondering if this goes against the law, as it is clearly a vehicular hazard. Furthermore, the AC unit seems to be attached with tape only, so it is undoubtedly a flimsy structure.
As expected, a lot of Floridians shared their thoughts on the matter, with some applauding the invention while others questioning the man behind the idea.

It is uncertain if the vehicle modification works as well as a car’s AC, but who are we to judge if it does the job? With the weather lately, having a way to cool off inside your car is vital. We’d prefer to see a proper vehicle without turning into a Frankenstein, but I guess people have to make do with what they have. Still, it is impressive that this Florida man got a house AC to work inside a car. Once again, this man shows us that every city in the state is brimming with creativity.
