Star NFL quarterback Trevor Lawrence has not been on the field since way back in week 13. Lawrence took a nasty hit after the young man attempted to slide. However, it was too late. Despite Trevor being on the injured reserve list, the Lawrence family does have some very happy news. QB1 and his wife, Marissa Lawrence, have welcomed their new baby girl into the world together. Now, with football’s regular season over, Lawrence will have plenty of at-home time with his new little one, especially since the Jaguars did not make the playoffs this season.
According to TMZ, Trevor Lawrence and Marissa are very happy with the new addition to their family. “Shae Lynn Lawrence Entered This World on Saturday at 4:01 a.m.,” stated the new parents via an Instagram post. The Insta post contained a slideshow of adorable photos of the happy family. Massive smiles can be seen in every picture of the couple showing off their 10-pound, 2-ounce bundle of joy. It would seem Shae is already extremely loved. However, just like any first-time parent, the Lawrence family will experience ups and downs, and it may come down to how they respond to those ups and downs.
2025 Starts off With a Bang for NFL Star Trevor Lawrence
Thanks to the athlete becoming a father, 2025 has already been a huge year for Lawrence. However, work will also look different for Trevor as the Jaguars fired their head coach, Doug Pederson, on Monday. It looks like a new face will be calling the shots for the team when week one rolls around again. Can Trevor mesh with the replacement coach and help turn this Jaguars organization around?
However, for right now, Trevor Lawrence will have some time to rest and just be a dad for a little bit. With the QB still recovering from his on-the-field injury, it seems like the perfect opportunity to really enjoy the fatherhood experience before getting back to the NFL grind. Although, football fans won’t have to worry about taking a long break since the playoffs will begin very soon.
Marissa and Trevor Lawrence have been able to experience something truly amazing in becoming parents. However, the rest of the NFL teams that did make the playoffs are focused on a whole other beast. Who will bring home the Super Bowl trophy this year? Will the Kansas City Chiefs become the first team to ever three-peat? Or will a new team reign supreme? At least for this season, it will not be Trevor Lawrence and his Jacksonville Jaguars.
