Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is approaching, and more details are surfacing as the launch day draws near. Thanks to the trailers released so far, there aren’t many questions remaining in the players’ minds about what the upcoming Star Wars game will offer. Additionally, as in every AAA game, various fan theories were present in this one. EA recently confirmed one of these fan theories and announced that Coruscant would be featured in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Features Coruscant
If you’re unfamiliar with the Star Wars universe, Coruscant is an ecumenopolis planet in the fictional Star Wars universe. Its first appearance was on screen in the 1997 Special Edition of Return of the Jedi but was first depicted and mentioned by name in Timothy Zahn’s 1991 novel Heir to the Empire. EA’s Andy McNamara recently confirmed that Coruscant would appear in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Thus, one of the most popular fan theories was confirmed, and fans seem pretty happy about that.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order debuted in 2019, allowing players to explore familiar planets such as Dathomir, Ilum, and Kashyyyk. With the addition of Coruscant in the upcoming game, it appears that fans will be offered an even better Star Wars experience. Although Andy McNamara has not yet fully revealed the planet’s role in the game, expectations from players have already increased.

“To be clear, Stig never claimed Coruscant was a “freely explorable open world.” He only confirmed it as one of the destinations in the game. Survivor has amazing planets to explore and our biggest environments to date, but I wanted to be clear on what was said. Thanks!”
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor releases on April 28 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
