New cast members include Naomi Ackie, Richard E. Grant, and Keri Russell. Previous footage of Carrie Fisher will be used for Leia Organa. Mark Hamill is also supposed to make an appearance. As well as Billy Dee Williams, reprising his role as Lando Calrissian.

The first live-action Star Wars television series will also debut then. Titled The Mandalorian, it will explore the rich history and culture of Mandalore, most famous for Jango Fett. It will be exclusive the new streaming service, Disney+. There isn’t much known about it. Jon Favreau will be the executive producer, along with assistance from Dave Filoni. The cast includes Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano (Deadpool), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Emily Swallow (Supernatural), Carl Weathers (Predator), Omid Abtahi (American Gods), Werner Herzog (Grizzly Man), and Nick Nolte (Warrior). Episodic directors include Deborah Chow (Jessica Jones), Rick Famuyiwa (Dope), Bryce Dallas Howard (Solemates), and Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok).

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a new video game that will be released. From EA and Respawn, this game will be of the action-adventure genre.

Lucasfilm and Disney have also teased more product releases and sales for October 4th. With stores promising midnight openings, products that include toys, collectibles, housewares, books, apparel, and more will make their debut or have special sales prices.

It should be exciting to watch for more details and announcements as Triple Force Friday draws closer.
