As one of the most popular marriage candidates in all of Stardew Valley, many players are looking to learn Sebastian’s favorite gifts. Giving a person gifts in this game is the best way to level up a relationship with them, and Seb is no different. Even if you don’t plan on marrying him, he’s still a great guy to build a friendship with. Here are his favorite gifts.

Loved Gifts

Aside from the universally-appreciated gifts in the game (listed below), every character has a list of gifts they like and a list of ones they love. Giving someone a loved gift nets you 80 friendship points. Give Sebastian a gift on his birthday, Winter 10, for 8x the point value.

Sebastian’s loved gifts include the following items: Frozen Tears, obsidian, Sashimi, Pumpkin Soup, and Void Eggs. Frozen Tears are very easy to find by foraging in the mines from levels 40 to 79. Obsidian is found inside Magma Geodes and Omni Geodes. And finally, Void Eggs are laid by Void Chickens.

As for the cooked dishes, they’re both pretty easy. Pumpkin Soup is made from a pumpkin and some milk, and Sashimi is made from any fish in the game.

Liked Gifts

Typically, the gifts that a Stardew Valley villager likes, but doesn’t love, are much easier to find. But Sebastian is an exception, where his loved gifts aren’t really that hard to find or make.

However, if you’re looking to earn 45 friendship points with him, he likes quartz and Flounders. Quartz is readily available in the mines, and Flounders can be caught in the ocean between 6 AM and 8 PM during spring and summer. However, you can easily turn that Flounder into Sashimi and earn almost double the points for gifting it to Sebastian.

Universal Gifts in Stardew Valley

Stardew Valley characters all love some of the same gifts. These are the universal loves, and there are five of them: Prismatic Shards, rabbit’s feet, pearls, the Golden Pumpkin, and Magic Rock Candy. However, these are very rare.

Instead, you can level up your friendship with Sebastian by giving him some of the universal likes, which include most items from the following categories: artisan goods, cooked dishes, foraged minerals, gems, fruit tree fruits, flowers, and vegetables. Maple syrup and Life Elixir are also universally-liked.

However, Seb poses some exceptions to this list. He hates or dislikes most artisan goods except for Green Tea and Coffee, which he likes. He also dislikes most flowers, as well as loving the items mentioned before that would be typically part of the universal likes list, like Sashimi.

Overall, I hope this helps you win over Sebastian in Stardew Valley.
