The Starfield Due in Full Quest is one of the first you can learn to complete after visiting New Atlantis. The quest involves helping Landry Hollifeld track down somebody who owes the bank a considerable amount of money. However, the thief, Dieter Maliki, has taken off in Starfield and is hiding in a shack a couple of planets over from the bank he owes the money to. Landry needs you to track down Maliki and make him pay in full. Can you complete the Due in Full quest in Starfield? Let’s learn how.

Where to Begin the Due in Full Quest in Starfield

You can pick up the Due in Full quest right in New Atlantis. First, you should head over to the Mast District. You can do this by hopping on one of the trails that take you from district to district within the area and selecting the Mast District option. Once you’ve arrived, you must head to the GalBank branch there. Once inside, you should see a single person sitting behind the counter. This banker’s name is Landry Hallifeld, and the giver of the Due in Full Quest in Starfield. Speak to Landry and accept his quest.

Landry will tell you that he needs help collecting a debt from Dieter Maliki, who scammed him out of a relatively large loan. However, Dieter has taken off to hide in a shack in a remote location, and Landry can’t collect the debt by himself.

Once you’ve obtained the quest, it’s time to head back to your ship and prepare for take-off. If you check your map, you’ll find that you can locate Dieter Maliki on Delta Pavonis in a location called Volt. If you started the Due in Full quest in Starfield early on in the game, it’s likely that you won’t have the place unlocked right away, so you won’t be able to travel to it. However, it’s only two jumps from Alpha Centauri, so getting there won’t take long. First, you should jump to Mir II, a platen within Sakharov and the only one between you and Dieter’s debt. From Mir III, you can jump to Delta Pavonis and land at Dieter Maliki’s location.

You will notice a single building as you approach the waypoint on Delta Pavonis. While nothing is nearby, you won’t need to travel farther than the shack. Head inside the shack to find Dieter Maliki sitting at a table with cards laid out in front of him.

Upon speaking to him, you’ll find he won’t be too excited to pay up and might even threaten you. The way you will be able to talk him into paying the bank back is through persuasion. While you only need to persuade him a little bit, Dieter Maliki is pretty easy to persuade, which is ideal since Landry Hollifeld wants him alive.

Take the money and head back to New Atlantis to turn in Dieter’s Debt, completing the Due in Full quest in Starfield.

She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
