This weekend marks the one-year anniversary of the launch of the space simulation game Starpoint Gemini 2 on Steam. To celebrate, publisher Iceberg Interactive and developer Little Green Men Games are going to be offering a 70% discount on the title on Steam for the next week.
The developer also released a new patch for the game this week that contains fixes for several issues as well as a few minor updates. Along with the discount and patch, new DLC titled “Titans” was also announced.
The DLC will bring three new Titan class ships to the game, in addition to new quests and new hero units. Players will also be able to choose and help one of the three major factions finish their Titan and fight other Titans.
Along with this news the publisher and developer stated that the sequel to Starpoint Gemini 2, titled Starpoint Gemini Warlords is still on track to be released to Steam Early Access during the fourth quarter of 2015.
Starpoint Gemini 2 has garnered mostly positive reviews since it’s release and has developed a loyal following among it’s players. Much of which has been due to the continued support and attention the game has received from it’s developer since release.
No pricing information was available for the new DLC, but a release date of November, 2015 was revealed.
