Steam’s Autumn Sale for 2022 is here, and Valve has announced its starting date. Fans should be on standby with their digital wallets at the ready for their favorite games at lower prices. Gabe Newell’s Steam marketplace is the biggest place for PC gaming, as the Steam client is the most popular way of buying games for anyone who owns a PC. Steam tends to get regular sales; overall, PC gamers get the best deals in all gaming, mostly owing to Steam.
Last year the Steam Autumn sale offered relatively new games like Cyberpunk 2077, Deathloop, Half-Life: Alyx, Horizon: Zero Dawn, and Red Dead Redemption 2 at much lower prices. For anyone who has not yet used Steam, sales such as this occur frequently, and players can usually find the games they want on sale throughout the year.
Steam Autumn Sale 2022 Dates
A recent video uploaded to Steam’s YouTube channel revealed the dates for the Autumn Sale. The sale starts at 10 AP PST on Tuesday, November 22, and will run through to November 29. Gamers will have around one week to check out all the deals and grab the best ones.
Like in the past, it is not certain which games will be on sale and which won’t. But the video from Steam did show games like Hitman 3, Stray, V Rising, and Slime Rancher 2. It is very likely that everyone will find something they’ve been looking forward to.
Along with the Autumn sale, the Steam Award nominations will be announced around the same time. Steam users will be allowed to nominate the games they liked the most in multiple categories, such as Best Soundtrack, Most Innovative Gameplay, and even the Best Games You Suck At award. So even for people who aren’t in the mood for adding to their evergrowing backlog, there will be something to engage in.
