Steam has great benefits for thousands of gamers out there. These include thousands of games in their catalog, valuable responses to technical problems, and great communication with their users. One of the great perks Steam has is that their team goes to great lengths to ensure that no hacker gets through their security barriers or, if they do, recovers and makes the account safe again as quickly as possible. But if you’re not convinced, one user shared how Valve recovered their account and games. Now, I feel I can rely more on Valve for my account and information with nothing to fear.
Redditor Srinivas_Hunter shared on r/funny a DM from Steam customer support, as the OP had a problem with someone infiltrating their profile. In the message, the Steam tech specialist assures OP that their account is fully functional and as safe as it was before the hacker threat.
From the way this specialist wrote the message, we can only think that the hacker messed with someone no one would want to meet: the Valve team. It feels like the employees have a whole special John Wick training to eliminate threats. Besides the message itself, the funniest thing is that it also includes a link to a video.
Would you like to watch the drone footage?

Unfortunately, we can’t see the video, and OP didn’t even describe its content, but users responded with very creative ideas:
New Steam Game: War Drone Simulator. Not guaranteed to be just a simulation.

Luckily for OP, there wasn’t any serious damage to their profile, unlike other people who shared that some hacker once deleted all their friends, and they couldn’t get them back. Someone else even shared that someone hacked into their account and stole money from their virtual wallet. Yet, many agree that the Steam team responds quickly and has been able to recover accounts in less than 12 hours. Talk about efficiency and effectiveness.
