Who doesn’t like a good Steam sale? Maybe your wallet, but that hardly counts. Steam is back with their Lunar New Year sale, starting today and running through the weekend. Celebrate the Year of the Dog with discounts on thousands of Steam games, but hurry! The sale only runs through February 19.

Every sale Valve has offers some pretty steep discounts. The usual suspects are here; Valve’s older catalog is available at a massive discount. If you somehow do not own Left 4 Dead 2 or Portal 2 at this point, grab them while they are 90% off. In addition, there are plenty of other good offers to snatch up. Check out some of these:

  • Cities: Skylines, 75% off – $7.49
  • The Long Dark, 50% off – $17.49
  • This War of Mine, 70% off – $5.99
  • Planet Coaster, 75% off – $11.24
  • The Evil Within 2, 50% off – $29.99
  • Rocket League, 40% off – $11.99

Steam

There are plenty of other offers on massive discounts, so make sure you head over to the landing page of the Lunar New Year sale and check them out. It lasts just a few days! And, since it’s the Year of the Dog, maybe give your dog a belly rub while you wait for your new pickups to download and install.

In addition to the big sale, Valve rolled out an update that adds some pretty good perks to the Steam wishlist. The bare-bones approach is gone; you can now sort by many more variables (including discount amounts, making Steam sales even more dangerous). Other filters include tags and genres.

Players can also see which games are in Early Access, as well as add games directly to their cart from their wishlist. Nothing groundbreaking, but a few quality of life upgrades that will make your wishlist a little more useful.

The wishlist upgrade should happen automatically when you load Steam. The Lunar New Year sale goes until February 19. Don’t delay; add to your backlog today.
