As soon as they set foot in the slums for the first time, Stray fans will encounter Guardian, the neighborhood’s red-cloaked defender. He’ll mention a group of robots called the Outsiders. He will also advise speaking to Momo to learn more about the outside world if they show him or any other robots the postcard from the outside that they picked up a bit earlier. He’ll tell Momo when he gets there that his pals have vanished. He also can’t get in touch with them since the transceiver he’s working on is broken. Players will need to find four notebooks hidden across the slums to assist them in fixing it. Here are all the locations of these notebooks in Stray.

Stray All Notebook Locations Notebook 1

Notebook 1

After speaking with the cat, Momo will hand them his journal before telling them he’s finished dreaming about the outside world. B-12, Stray’s robot friend, will advise locating the other three notebooks after studying the first one. They are all hidden in towering nearby buildings, and each bears the Outsiders logo—a white face with a circle for a mouth on a blue backdrop.

Notebook 2

You should return to the outside after obtaining Momo’s Notebook and turn to the left. You should spot a towering structure with enclosed metal railings along the side and a big blue Outsiders sign on the roof. Gamers must remove the energy cell from the fan once they are on the roof to be allowed to enter the apartment. They can discover Zbaltazar’s Notebook there, hidden behind a box next to the sofa.

Notebook 3

You’ll find Doc’s Notebook inside a locked safe in an apartment full of books. Users should seek out a lit sign bearing the Outsiders’ insignia next to a rooftop with a couch and a television. They must locate Doc’s bedroom after they are inside the apartment and decipher the message on the bed. They will discover that Doc has a safe concealed beneath some of the adjacent books.

The Stray will get the key once B-12 has completed interpreting the message. Returning to the apartment’s main area, they can climb a ladder at the end of a row of bookcases before entering. Players may use the key to open the safe and get their dirty little hands on Doc’s Notebook by pushing over a stack of books below ground level.

Notebook 4

The fourth and final notebook is in Clementine’s apartment, roughly across the hall from Momo’s. The enormous white Outsiders emblem painted on the building’s façade will help players recognize it quite readily. You may locate Clementine’s Notebook on the desk next to her computer. Enter the window and squeeze through a crack in the glass-paneled sliding door.

The cat will need to return to Momo’s apartment once they have discovered all four of the Outsiders’ notebooks. He will read the note regarding the design issue in the transceiver. Then, he will fix it after being shown the other three notebooks. Unfortunately, it can’t detect a signal in the slums, so players must travel to Zurk territory to look for a signal.

Stray is available on PC and PlayStation.
