Suge Knight has alleged that there is more to Diddy and the FBI’s relationship than meets the eye. Recall that since March Diddy has continued to dominate news headlines after the FBI raided his houses. Recently, Suge Knight’s claims about Diddy sparked another controversy after the former Death Row CEO accused the rapper of being an informant for the feds for years. What’s more, Knight said Diddy’s cooperation with the FBI was a known fact in the industry. “It’s a lot of things that people been knowing, and everybody gets judged differently,” he said in the latest episode of Collect Call with Suge Knight.
“It shouldn’t be a grey area when it comes to doing something right, doing something positive or doing something for the community. That being said, naturally, Puffy been an FBI informant forever, as they would say. That’s why it’s different when it comes to him,” Knight revealed. The imprisoned record executive asked the public to stop blaming everything that had happened on Diddy. According to him, the rapper’s exes and everyone in his crew knew about Diddy and the FBI’s relationship. “Everybody knew about it. So don’t push away from it now,” he said.
Despite Suge Knight’s claims about Diddy and the various sexual assault allegations against the mogul, he still supports Diddy. In the TMZ documentary The Downfall of Diddy, Knight explained how his reaction to Diddy’s legal troubles differed from others. According to him, unlike others, he felt empathy for the embattled artist because of his kids.
“My reaction was actually different because the first thing that came to my mind was: he has his sons, he has his daughters. My reaction was first about the kids,” he said. The 59-year-old explained that he isn’t one to be happy about another person’s downfall. According to him, any issue he had with Diddy was for them to sit down in a room and resolve. Overall, Knight revealed the tragedy involving Diddy and his victims was nothing to cheer about.
