Today’s State of Play brought a lot of surprises. While we already knew that the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League game would make an appearance, we didn’t know we’d get an official release date. It is almost here for those who have been waiting eagerly for Rocksteady’s next title. Many thought the game would arrive by the end of the year, but it is coming a lot sooner. While some are skeptical about the design choices, we can all agree that the game looks great so far. As with any other game as a service, though, we’ll have to wait to see how well it does when it launches.

After a lengthy showcase during today’s State of Play, we got the official confirmation for the release date. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Reveals Batman
While the big news is the release date of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, one thing that made fans sad is the fact that it is sort of a looter-shooter. In the trailer, we were able to see gear from different qualities, similar to any RPG, a Battle Pass, and a store. All of these things come as a red flag for many gamers who just wanted a single-player experience similar to the Arkham trilogy. Sadly, we’re getting a game as a live service which is a big deal breaker for many. Still, some fans seem eager to try it, and thankfully the wait won’t be long. So, get ready to pre-order the game because it’ll hit the shelves on May 26, 2023.
