Looking to get into the spooky spirit? Or maybe you’re looking for your next Kickstarter project? Either way, Sunshine Manor is just the thing! Over halfway to their total goal, there is still plenty of time to bring the prequel to Camp Sunshine to life.
For Sunshine Manor, the developers drew inspiration from classic films and video games like From Beyond, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, Legend of Zelda, Silent Hill and Resident Evil. An eighties-inspired synth soundtrack and beautiful pixelated graphics are the backdrop for this horrific adventure:
Sunshine Manor, is a horror adventure game that’s inspired by the famous horror movies of the 1980s. You play as Ada whose night of trick or treating turns into a night of terror when she becomes trapped inside the old Aitken Manor. Use Ada’s latent psychic powers to battle all kinds of fiendish demons, solve puzzles and maybe even defeat the omni-present Shadow Man….who is watching your every move!
There are a plethora of tiers available to those who wish to support Sunshine Manor. The smallest tier costs about $11 and includes a Steam code for Camp Sunshine and Sunshine Manor, in-game credit and a special Discord role. Console codes are included in a $24 tier with all of the same goodies listed above. Tiers going forward contain a mix of the above items and some physical rewards as well. Check out all the tiers here!
As of this writing, the Kickstarter has 25 days to go with $15,500 raised so far, and Fossil Games is a little over halfway to their goal of $26,063. If you’d like to check this out for yourself, a playable prologue for Sunshine Manor is now available for free!
