With ten days left to go, Sunshine Manor made their Kickstarter goal of $26,052 with almost 500 backers. With the project being fully funded, the team at Fossil Games are working hard on creating stretch goals.
An update released earlier today announced that the next stretch goal will bring two more songs to the Sunshine Manor soundtrack. This prequel to Camp Sunshine is a celebration of retro gaming. “The old Aitken House has sat abandoned for the past four years. The local children have told stories of the gruesome murders that happened there all those years ago. Ada and her two friends pluck up the courage to knock on the door… the rest is for you to discover!”
Paul Dolby, developer at Fossil Games commented on the Kickstarter‘s success:
Sunshine Manor’s Kickstarter has been a wild ride so far and I really can’t say thank you enough to everyone that’s supported us so far!. All of the comments from gamers who have played Prologue Chapter have exceeded our expectations! We’ve had exceptional demand for our limited quantity Nintendo Switch rewards, thanks to our friends at Premium Edition Games, and cannot wait to hear what fans think of the incredible artwork that Graham Humphrey’s is working on for this Kickstarter exclusive edition!
As of this writing, there are still ten days left to get your pledge in, and Fossil Games is looking to add more stretch goals over the coming days. Right now, Sunshine Manor’s Kickstarter has earned $27,078. According to the Steam page, this game is set to release on October 28th, 2021.
