The Super Bowl is undoubtedly one of the biggest sports events of the year, bringing in millions of fans to see who wins. The game isn’t the only thing people tune in for though, as the event is known to show a lot of new trailers and commercials. This year was no exception, offering up seven new movie trailers and much more! In case you missed watching the Super Bowl, we’ve grabbed all the trailers shown and put them here for your viewing. Here are all the movie trailers revealed.
F9 (Fast and Furious 9)
First off, we have a short trailer for the upcoming F9. We received the first trailer for this movie earlier this week and while this has some of those scenes, there are some new ones too. More specifically, a few more action scenes and a new song. F9 is the upcoming sequel in the long-running Fast and Furious franchise, featuring many of the same characters along with some old faces. The film will be directed by Justin Lin, who directed Tokyo Drift, Fast 4, 5, and 6.
The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge On The Run
The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge On The Run features all your favorite Spongebob characters in the first all-CGI adaptation. Gary has been snail-napped, and it’s up to Spongebob and Patrick to rescue him. Along the way, they’ll meet new faces in The Lost City of Atlantis and encounter dangers to bring Gary home. The SpongeBob Movie will release in May 2020.
Black Widow
The latest Black Widow trailer has fan favorite Natasha Romanoff confronting her past when a dark conspiracy surfaces. Being pursued by a relentless force, Romanoff must take down these new foes and fix relationships with her family if she’s to have any chance of bringing them down. Black Widow will release in May 2020 and take place before the events of Avengers: Endgame.
Sonic The Hedgehog
In a live-action TV spot, we get more scenes from the Sonic movie featuring several professional athletes. Sonic The Hedgehog will feature everyone’s favorite hedgehog on a quest to stop the evil Dr. Robotnik. With the help of his friend Tom Wachowski, Sonic must explore this new home of Earth and make new friends on an adventure you won’t want to miss. Sonic The Hedgehog releases February 14th, 2020.
A Quiet Place: Part II
Unsurprisingly, A Quiet Place: Part II got a TV spot at the Super Bowl featuring similar scenes from the trailer revealed earlier this month. A Quiet Place: Part II picks up after Part I, following the remains of the Abbott family venturing further beyond. They will meet new friends, but also new enemies in their quest to find hope in a desolated world. A Quiet Place: Part II releases March 20th, 2020.
Mulan
The Mulan trailer featured shows off many more scenes of the upcoming film. Mulan is a realistic retelling of the 1998 animated film of the same name. The Emperor of China has ordered that one man of every family must fight in the army, and Mulan plans to take her father’s place. On her quest, she must earn the respect of her father and the grand nation she fights for. Mulan will release in theatres on March 27th, 2020.
Top Gun: Maverick
Top Gun: Maverick‘s Big Game Spot features many new scenes of the returning Peter “Maverick” Mitchell, including some intense confrontations. The movie stars Tom Cruise as he faces many fears of his past, along with training the newest generation of Top Gun graduates. He and his graduates must go on a daring mission which will demand the ultimate sacrifice. Top Gun: Maverick flies into theatres on June 26th, 2020.
