Ready to go bananas? Earlier today, Sega released the first gameplay trailer for Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD along with official release dates for consoles in October and this winter for PC. Feel all the nostalgia and check out the trailer below!

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD - Gameplay Trailer | PS4

This remake breathes new life into the old classic with highly updated graphics and new controls fitted for each system. In order to streamline Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, they have ditched the motion controls to make a tighter experience for players which revolves around analog controls. That being said, it will be even easier to jump, tilt, and roll through over 100 levels of bright, whimsical landscapes.

Not only does the new and improved Super Monkey Ball have 100 single-player levels, but there is also plenty do with your pals. There are 10 multiplayer games to enjoy along with online leaderboards “for single-player Time Attack and the all-new Mini-Game Decathalon Score Attack modes” to encourage some healthy competition among the community. Needless to say, alone or with a group of friends, this update will be more fun than a barrel of monkeys.

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD will be available physically and digitally for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on October 29th, 2019. The game will also be available on PC, but it will release at some point this winter.
