Get your dancing boots on, because the beat is about to drop on PS Vita. The official Playstation blog just announced that a new rhythm game, Superbeat:Xonic, will be coming soon for PS Vita. This should give PS Vita owners a chance to spend some one-on-one time with their favorite Sony Computer Entertainment handheld gaming device.

The official press release lists a few of the key features that players can expect including, new “massive play patterns, music, and real-time DJ ranking.” The official description for Superbeat: Xonic promises that gameplay will be a mixture of visuals and tapping notes to a song’s beat. The game will, also, utilize the Playstation Vita’s buttons and/or touchscreen. Players will have an opportunity to flaunt their skills by sharing results to a global online leaderboard. Did we mention that the game is compatible with the PlayStation TV?

The game, rated Teen, was recently released in Korea on October 22, 2015. Game developers PM Studios and Nurijoy are the team responsible for developing the upcoming music game. Nurijoy is a company that was formed by former employees of, South Korean video game developer, Pentavision. Acttil is an independent game developer founded in Los Angeles, California.
