Sydney Sweeney likely wasn’t too impressed with the influx of comments landing on her Instagram earlier this year. In February, The White Lotus star stunned her fans in a plunging red dress as she posted in video mode, quickly seeing her followers commenting on her curves and not all tastefully.
Fortunately for Sydney, some of the most-liked replies are now backing her — in short, fans aren’t impressed with the “disgusting comments” left to the busty video. Sweeney has already opened up about her figure, stating that her body does not “define” her. The post itself proved immensely popular overall, earning the 26-year-old beauty over 2.5 million likes.

Sizzling in a figure-hugging, floor-length dress, Sydney showed fans the look she’d chosen for the 2024 People‘s Choice Awards.
Highlighting her assets as she flaunted her toned waistline, the blonde dazzled as she braved a low neckline in her couture Mônot number, one paired with red high heels. Footage showed Sydney striking poses by a wooden door as she flaunted her killer curves while all dolled up from a flawless face of makeup.
Sporting a heavy layer of cheek blush blended over matte foundation, Sydney went dramatic with dark eyeliner contrasting her baby blue eyes, also keeping chic with diamond earrings and a long manicure. A red heart envelope emoji was the only caption.
Fans Say The Comments Are ‘Disgusting’
Gaining likes was a reply from model Carmen Electra, who wrote: “Baywatch red.” It looks like another category of comments were leaving some fans unimpressed, though.
“*Sighs* *opens the comments section*,” a fan replied, gaining over 2,300 likes. Likely having picked up on below-the-belt remarks, another proved popular as they said: “Disgusting comments.”
“Uhm I’m a straight woman thank you,” one fan retorted, although another responded to say that Sydney was only “famous” because of the remarks she garners on social media. This troll even called Sweeney a “bimbo” as they alleged that she straight-up seeks inappropriate comments.
Sydney has experienced further drama this year after Father of the Bride producer Carol Baum famously called her “not pretty” as she added that she “can’t act.” Sydney waited a few days to fire back, but she did respond. “If that’s what she’s learned in her decades in the industry and feels is appropriate to teach to her students, that’s shameful,” the star stated via her rep. Sydney is followed by over 20 million on Instagram.
