Sydney Sweeney has been criticized for looking “stiff” and robot-like as footage of her strolling around Venice goes viral. At the end of June, the actress jetted out to Italy for Amazon founder Jeff Bezos’ wedding to Lauren Sanchez, where she made fashion headlines and sparked romance rumors with NFL star Tom Brady.
A daytime moment was also captured on camera as Sydney enjoyed some off-duty time, but fans seemed to think she didn’t look too comfortable. In fact, the user likening the 27-year-old to a “robot” replied to a comment suggesting that she wasn’t enjoying Venice at all. Jeff Bezos’ high-profile wedding was also attended by mogul Oprah Winfrey, reality stars Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, plus actor Orlando Bloom. Sydney was briefly spotted strolling a canal sidewalk with the Pirates of the Caribbean star.
Sydney Sweeney Strolls Around Venice ‘Like A Robot’
Footage showed Sydney keeping a poker face as she strolled around while accompanied by a girlfriend.
Displaying her toned legs, the Hollywood sensation went thigh-skimming in a floaty black dress, keeping classy as she managed temperatures approaching 100 degrees. Going sleeveless and a little backless as she modeled a sundress with wispy, floaty accents, Sydney added practical flats and a pair of shades, also carrying a black purse.
The Euphoria star had clearly had her hair done before heading out, rocking flawless waves as she showcased her blonde locks. The video was shared on Backgrid, where fans rushed to comment.
Looking ‘Stiff’ While Out And About?
“So they just walk the streets like that, no talking no pointing at cool things,” one user wrote. Here, a fan replied, saying that they thought Hollywood was “getting” to Sydney’s “head.”
A further fan jumped in, stating: “In all her “public appearances” she looks like a robot, just stiff.”
Others commented on Sydney’s presence at Jeff Bezos’ wedding. “Kind of sad when you think about it, Jeff Bezos has to pay famous people to come to his wedding,” they said. Sydney is not known to have personal ties with Jeff, who made sure that his special day came with a star-studded guest list. Sydney wound up dancing with supermodel Gisele Bundchen’s ex, Tom Brady, although no romance has been confirmed. Users have commented on a possible relationship between the two, although many on social media have felt that 48-year-old Tom might be too old for Sydney.
Earlier this year, Sydney ended her engagement to fiance Jonathan Davino.
