Sylvester Stallone may be in some hot water as he is being accused of some pretty bad behavior on the set of his drama, Tulsa King. The casting director for the show claims that she quit after Stallone insulted the extras on set. The show’s director stated that the real reason she quit was because she got called out for not doing her job and that no such insults were thrown around.
According to TMZ, Casting Supervisor Rose Locke claimed that Sylvester and the director called the extras ugly and even called one a ”tub of lard.” Another insult was thrown at one actor in particular, referring to him as a “fat guy with a cane.” A Facebook page for the Atlanta-based actors claims that the actor said the comment “hurt his soul.”
Sylvester Stallone and Craig Zisk Denied the Claims
Another Facebook post claimed Locke said that Sylvester Stallone wanted them to “bring in pretty young girls to be around me.”
Craig Zisk, the show’s director and Executive Producer, denies all of this and claims that Rose Locke was not even on set the day of that alleged encounter with Sylvester Stallone. He also went on to say that Locke did not cast the correct extras.
Zisk wanted the extras to be in the age range of 25 to 35-years-old. They were meant to be in a “young” and “hip” bar. Apparently, the actors were much older. Zisk still used them for the scene and claimed they were “polite and did their job.”
Locke allegedly was supposed to submit headshots of the actors so they could see if they fit the part, but Zisk said she responded, “I didn’t work that day.” After Zisk called her out, she quit an hour later.
Craig Zisk also stated that Sylvester Stallone never said anything about pretty young girls. His wife, Jennifer Flavin, was right there during filming. Even with the controversy, Season 2 of Tulsa King could still come out in early 2025.
