Sylvester Stallone will star in the Paramount+ mob drama series Kansas City. The series takes place in the present-day; Stallone will play Sal who tries modernizing his mafia family to be straight shooters in Kansas City, Missouri. He has only previously guest-starred in the 70s television series Police Story and Kojak, and most recently NBC’s This is Us. Taylor Sheridan and Terence Winter will write and executive produce Kansas City. Sheridan has created the series Yellowstone, Mayor of Kingstown, and Y: 1883. Winter wrote the script for The Wolf of Wall Street and created the series Boardwalk Empire. 101 studios, the production behind Taylor Sheridan’s works, will produce the Paramount+ mob drama series Kansas City. Sylvester Stallone, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, and Bob Yari of 101 Studios will serve as executive producers. Terence Winter will be the showrunner.

Sylvester Stallone Will Star in Taylor Sheridan’s Series Kansas City
Sylvester Stallone has had a career spanning five decades. Not only did he make the Rocky franchise and the Rambo franchise, but has played iconic characters in the movies Demolition Man and Judge Dredd. The fourth Expendables movie comes out later next year. He has starred in The Suicide Squad and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Now he’ll go from the big screen to star in Kansas City.
