Sylvester Stallone will star in the Paramount+ mob drama series Kansas City. The series takes place in the present-day; Stallone will play Sal who tries modernizing his mafia family to be straight shooters in Kansas City, Missouri. He has only previously guest-starred in the 70s television series Police Storyย andย Kojak, and most recently NBC’s This is Us. Taylor Sheridan and Terence Winter will write and executive produceย Kansas City. Sheridan has created the series Yellowstone,ย Mayor of Kingstown, and Y: 1883. Winter wrote the script for The Wolf of Wall Streetย and created the series Boardwalk Empire. 101 studios, the production behind Taylor Sheridan’s works, will produce the Paramount+ mob drama series Kansas City. Sylvester Stallone, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, and Bob Yari of 101 Studios will serve as executive producers. Terence Winter will be the showrunner.
