Take-Two Interactive’s official statement left little room for doubt: GTA 6 is still on track for the Fall 2025 release window.
The excitement for the next entry to the beloved open-world crime series is undeniable. However, recent reports have stirred some anxiety on the net; it claimed Rockstar Games had to push the GTA 6 release window back. According to the rumors, the game’s launch for consoles had been “internally delayed” to early or mid-2026. Even worse, the PC version was said to potentially take another 12 to 18 months after the console debut.
