According to US Weekly, Swift and Kelce still think it’s too early in their relationship for an engagement.

A source told the publication that Swift and Kelce have “no plans” to get engaged this summer. Although their time together has been “amazing” so far, they’re not ready to take the next step in their relationship just yet. The source explained:
Things between them are going amazing, but they haven’t even been together for a year yet and still have so much to learn about each other.

While they may not be ready to spend the rest of their lives with each other “anytime soon,” their friends and family are apparently rooting for an engagement. Fans of the couple also hope they make things official when the time is right.
The engagement rumors surrounding Swift and Kelce come weeks after they spent New Year’s Eve together. While Swift was visiting the NFL star in Kansas City, the pair rang in 2024 by attending a party. A fellow guest recorded the two kissing during the festivities once the clock struck midnight. Swift held Kelce’s face as they passionately locked lips. It was their first New Year’s Eve together since they began dating last summer.
Days prior, the pair also celebrated Christmas together with their loved ones in Kansas City. Swift and her family spent the holiday cheering on Kelce as he and the rest of the Kansas City Chiefs played against the Las Vegas Raiders.
