Taylor Swift experienced a slight wardrobe malfunction while performing in Brazil. During her final Rio de Janeiro concert on Nov. 20, one of the singer’s heels broke on stage. However, Swift didn’t let the incident distract from her performance. She simply laughed off the mishap before she removed her heel and threw it away. Instead of waiting for another set of boots, Swift continued performing as if nothing happened. Since she was walking around with a perfectly arched foot, fans called her a real-life Barbie.

As fans know, Swift wears a sparkly bodysuit and knee-high boots during the Lover portion of her Eras Tour setlist. While her outfit usually causes her no trouble, the heel of one of Swift’s boots snapped during her final Rio de Janeiro concert. Since the broken heel was bothering her, Swift decided to remove it completely. In a video captured by a fan, Swift could be seen messing around with her shoe before chucking it off stage. She then proceeded to walk around tiptoe in order to keep the show going.
Despite walking around with just one heel, Swift didn’t lose her balance. She kept her foot perfectly arched, and the image reminded many fans of Greta Gerwig’s Barbie. At one point during the film, Margot Robbie is seen arching her foot to imitate a Barbie doll. Since Swift managed to do the same, fans couldn’t help but compare her to Barbie.

Swift’s Nov. 20 performance at Estádio OlÃmpico Nilton Santos marked her final Rio de Janeiro concert of 2023. The show was supposed to take place on Saturday, Nov. 18. However, Swift decided to push the concert to Monday due to “extreme temperatures.”
