Taylor Swift has proven time and time again that she knows how to have a good time. The beloved singer is known for supporting other artists by dancing and singing to their performances at award shows. Of course, the 2025 Grammys was no different. Swift, who attended the event sans her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, showed off her unique dance moves as she watched stars such as Sabrina Carpenter perform during the night. Unfortunately, her dance moves didn’t seem to impress fans.
Although Taylor Swift was spotted busting a move several times during the Grammys, it was her dancing during Kendrick Lamar’s diss track, Not Like Us, that really had people talking. Videos of the singer dancing during the show were quickly posted online and went viral as fans poked fun at the cringe-worthy dancing.
In the videos, Swift is seen wearing a short red dress, heels, and a black jacket. She swayed back and forth while bending her knees and throwing her arms and legs out to the side in time with the music. It was clear that the dancing showed off a more free and loose version of the singer than her choreographed moves that fans have become accustomed to. While some praised Taylor for her fun and unrestricted moves, many rushed to poke fun at her.
Taylor Swift Blasted For Cringe Dance Moves At Grammys
“She’s 1% Karen, 99% Cringe,” one person wrote via X.
“It’s the drunk Auntie dance,” another stated.
“Let the woman dance like nobody is watching who cares,” a third comment read.
It seems that Taylor Swift is a big fan of Kendrick Lamar’s hit song. The tune was released as a diss track toward fellow rapper Drake and quickly became a fan favorite. The song even won Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song, and Best Music Video at the Grammys.
It seems that Swift won’t be able to escape the song following the show. Lamar is set to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show on Sunday. Of course, Taylor will also be in attendance as her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and his team, The Kansas City Chiefs, will be looking to take home their third-straight championship. It’s unclear if Kendrick will sing the hit. However, it appears that fans are hoping they’ll get to see him belt out the track during the event.
Taylor Swift’s Grammy dancing video isn’t the first time that the singer has been bashed for her moves. However, she doesn’t seem to care. She continues to show off her fun and carefree side during events that honor the music industry. It’s unlikely that she’ll stop now.
