Swifties had double reasons to celebrate on Sunday, as they got to watch Taylor Swift perform her final show in New Orleans just as her boyfriend Travis Kelce secured his first touchdown of the season. The crooner kicked off her three-day tour of New Orleans on Friday with a concert at the sold-out Caesars Superdome. While her boyfriend Travis could not attend any of the shows due to his commitment to the Kansas City Chiefs as the NFL season unravels, the Love Story star let him, and the rest of the world know she held him close to her heart at all times, regardless of distance.
During her third concert in New Orleans, Taylor Swift referenced her boyfriend Travis Kelce, who secured the teams’ final touchdown, and his first of the season during the games against the Raiders. While performing her song, Karma, during the Midnights segment, Taylor Swift tweaked the lyrics a bit, switching up “Screen” for “Chiefs” as she’s done severally since kicking off their romance.

As she crooned the lyrics, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me,” Swifties in the packed venue erupted in cheers and applauds, celebrating their favorite couple and the significance of Taylor’s words. Taylor Swift paid another sweet tribute to Travis while performing Midnight Rain, doing his signature archer pose.
Aside from her tributes to Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift honored New Orleans with her outfit change during her Lover set, opting for a purple bodysuit. She referenced the color while addressing the excited crowd, saying,
“Doesn’t My outfit seem very New Orleans?”
Her subtle tribute paid homage to the city’s special connection to the color purple. While Travis Kelce’s game in Las Vegas kept him from attending Taylor Swift’s New Orleans concert, the crooner had her parents Andrea and Scott Swift’s supportive presence. After a memorable evening, the singer bid farewell to New Orleans, ready for another exciting adventure on her next Eras Tour stop in Indianapolis from November 1 to November 3.
