The singer is said to be a nervous wreck because she believes that her private text messages with Blake could become very public if they are used as any kind of evidence when the lawsuit eventually goes to trial. Now she’s said to be freaking out about the possibility.
According to Heat World, Taylor Swift is in a tizzy about her personal messages and thoughts becoming public for all to see. The singer, who is one of the most famous people in the world, has worked hard to protect her image during her career, and she’s feeling like this is a huge invasion of privacy, especially since she claims to have nothing to do with the case.
“This is Taylorโs worst nightmare. While she is one of the worldโs biggest stars, sheโs also extremely careful about what she shares in the public domain, so the thought of her private messages being released is horrifying,” an insider told the outlet.
Taylor Swift Panicking About Blake Lively Lawsuit Involvement
The drama began in late 2024 when Blake Lively sued her It Ends With Us director/co-star Justin Baldoni for sexual harassment. Baldoni immediately fired back with his own lawsuit, suing both Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds for defamation. As the details of the lawsuit began to leak, Swift was mentioned as a person whom Lively used to assert influence and get her way when it came to certain decisions about the film. Baldoni even claimed that Swift was present at a meeting about the movie.
In a text message from Blake to Justin, the actress refers to herself as Game of Thrones character Khaleesi, and says that Taylor and Ryan are her “dragons.” Earlier this month, it was revealed that Swift was subpoenaed in the lawsuit. Immediately, the singer’s lawyers hit back. They claimed that Taylor was never on the set of the film, or involved in any creative decisions, per Page Six.
It seems that Swift is trying to get out of the legal mess that Lively dragged her into. However, she may not be able to stop herself from being caught in the crossfire.
“She’s understandably in a complete panic about how this is going to affect her. She’s in a state of disbelief, not to mention being overcome with anxiety that this could potentially destroy her career,” the informant dished.
It looks like the drama is only going to heat up for Taylor Swift and Blake Lively, and it’s unclear whether their friendship will be able to survive it.
