Taylor Swift is coming to a city near you. Before you get too excited, no, she isn’t going on tour again. Madame Tussauds announced that it will debut 13 new wax figures of the pop star around the world. They were inspired by her most iconic Eras Tour looks, from her purple Speak Now dress to her yellow Evermore gown. The company shared a sneak peek of the Taylor Swift wax figures on Instagram, and fans all had the same thought: They’re scarily accurate.
Taylor Swift Wax Figures Shock Fans
Usually, wax figures are a hit or miss. Some look exactly like the celebrity, while others totally miss the mark. As for the new Taylor Swift wax figures, fans agree Madame Tussauds did an amazing job capturing the singer’s likeness. The reason they’re so accurate all comes down to the small details. For example, the company made sure to incorporate Swift’s electric blue eyes, iconic red lipstick, and signature blonde bangs for each of her figures. On top of that, Madame Tussauds put a lot of thought into every one of their outfits. They look identical to the ensembles Swift wore throughout her Eras Tour.
According to a press release, they’re a result of 40 artists coming together to recreate Swift’s most iconic stage looks. Those artists worked directly in collaboration with the very same fashion houses that made Swift’s original outfits, from Vivienne Westwood and Versace to Christian Louboutin and Alberta Ferretti.
After seeing a glimpse of the Taylor Swift wax figures on Instagram, fans praised the brand for doing so much research. “These are so well done,” one person wrote. “These are the most realistic wax figures I’ve ever seen,” said another fan. “Look at the details,” read another comment. Some fans thought they were so accurate that they called the statues “creepy.”
Honoring the Eras Tour
The Taylor Swift wax figures will be put on display in 13 different cities. Fans can catch them at the Madame Tussauds attractions in Amsterdam, Berlin, Blackpool, Budapest, Hollywood, Hong Kong, Las Vegas, London, Nashville, New York, Orlando, and Sydney. One figure will be touring across the globe, with its first destination being in Shanghai. Fans can find more information on the Madame Tussauds website.
The news comes just seven months after Taylor Swift finished her Eras Tour in December 2024. The trek, which marked the singer’s sixth concert tour, consisted of 149 shows in 51 cities. Notably, the setlist consisted of songs from each of Swift’s albums throughout her career. Many celebrities showed support for Swift by attending the tour, like Selena Gomez, Emma Stone, and Cara Delevingne, just to name a few. Of course, Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce caught a few shows throughout its nearly two-year-long run as well.
Thankfully, fans can relive the magic all over again by visiting Taylor Swift’s wax figures at Madame Tussauds.
