At a recent Foo Fighters show, frontman Dave Grohl called out Taylor Swift for not “performing live.” The former drummer for Nirvana jokingly stated that his band’s tour is called the Errors Tour because they “actually play live.” However, Swift took the first chance she got to fire back at Grohl. Swift stated on stage at her show that her band does, in fact, play live. Swift seems to not find Grohl’s joke funny at all.
TMZ reports that Swift announced her band in a very specific way. She then took a moment to tell her sold-out crowd of screaming fans that they deserve to hear music played live, so that is what she will continue to do.
Taylor Swift Fires Back at Dave Grohl
“Every one of my band members, every single one of our crew, my band who’s gonna be playing live for you for 3.5 hours tonight, they deserve this so much. And so does every one of my fellow performers.”
Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour has had its fair share of errors as well. The singer has had to stop shows on multiple occasions to assist fans. The pop star also reportedly inhaled a bug during Sunday’s show. Swift had to take a moment to compose herself afterward.
Although Swift may have taken some offense to Dave Grohl’s comments, the artist was more than likely just poking some fun. The two currently have dueling UK concerts, with the Foo Fighters playing at the London Stadium the other night. London Stadium is just on the other side of town from Wembley Stadium, where Swift was performing.
Taylor Swift has been absolutely crushing it on her current tour. Travis Kelce even made an appearance on stage for Sunday’s show. All eyes were on Wembley Stadium as stars like Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis made an appearance. Unfortunately for Dave Grohl, Swift happened to be in town at the same time he was.
