Taylor Swift has won Travis Kelce’s heart. However, she’s also got the seal of approval from the other woman in the athlete’s life, his mother Donna Kelce. The Kansas City Chiefs star often gushes over his girlfriend. Meanwhile, his mother seems to love her as well. Recently, Donna shared her opinions about the singer’s latest album, The Tortured Poets Department. Mama Kelce was very impressed with the double album, and didn’t hold back by saying it’s some of Swift’s best work ever. However, she does have some questions about the songs on the album.
According to Us Weekly, Donna is dying to know who the songs are about on the album. Of course, she was mostly curious about which songs were written about her son, Travis. Although Taylor usually doesn’t share information about the inspiration behind her songs, she might be inclined to let Donna in on the secret.
Travis Kelce’s Mother Has Some Questions for Taylor Swift
“I know there’s a few that some people think are about Travis but we’ll just see,” Donna told the outlet. “You know, I’ll have to ask her when I see her.”
Taylor Swift hasn’t shared which songs on the album are about Travis Kelce. However, the most obvious one seems to be “So High School.” In the lyrics, she shares references to Kelce’s football career.
“Truth, dare, spin bottles / You know how to ball, I know Aristotle / Brand new, full throttle / Touch me when your bros play Grand Theft Auto,” Swift sings. Meanwhile, other songs that are thought to be about Kelce include “The Albatross” and “The Alchemy.”
Throughout Kelce’s most recent NFL season, where the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl, Swift seemed to become close to his mother. After the championship game the two women walked hand-in-hand on to the field to share the big moment with the athlete. “I’m going to do what Donna does,” the singer told her security team at the time.
Fans love that Taylor Swift is close with Travis Kelce‘s mother. Perhaps she’ll even become her mother-in-law someday.
