Taylor Swift fans have much to be excited about. She released her Midnights album last night to much fanfare, and now she has a brand new music video. The song in question, Anti-Hero, is a personal anthem about uncovering hard truths about oneself. The accompanying video adds a humorous twist that has become a hallmark of Taylor Swift’s music videos. Some fans may even see a few famous faces in the video, as Kaitlin Olson from It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia made an appearance near the end.
In addition to releasing Midnights last night, Taylor Swift’s 10th album, the singer unleashed a “3 am” version with seven additional songs. This was the “very chaotic surprise” the singer teased earlier in the week. The original album has 13 tracks, representing 13 stories of sleepless nights, hence the title Midnights.
Taylor Swift fans can watch the music video for Anti-Hero on YouTube or wherever else they stream music videos.
Taylor Swift’s ‘Midnights’ Album
Midnights is a wild ride of an album and I couldn’t be happier that my co pilot on this adventure was @jackantonoff. He’s my friend for life (presumptuous I know but I stand by it) and we’ve been making music together for nearly a decade HOWEVER…https://t.co/jjqUNkGSme pic.twitter.com/v7LboJJ9Ik

If the rumors are true, Taylor Swift fans have much more to be excited about. According to reports, there will be several music videos beyond Anti-Hero for tracks on the album. While it’s not uncommon for artists to have multiple videos from an album, it seems that Taylor will release them periodically instead of releasing them as singles, which is the traditional way. In addition, fans can expect several appearances from the singer to promote the record. She has confirmed an appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s show for next week, but it seems that Taylor wants to keep much of the release schedule as a surprise.
So far, critics and fans alike hold Taylor Swift’s Midnights album in high regard. The album currently has a 92% rating on Metacritic. This means that Taylor Swift’s 10th album is one of the best-reviewed of the year for new releases.
