Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been dating for more than six months, and their high-profile relationship has gained tons of attention from the media and fans. The singer, who likes to protect her reputation, has allegedly set some rules and boundaries in her romance with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. Of course, she’s looking out for her own image, and the athlete isn’t thrilled about all of her demands.
Sources tell Life & Style Magazine that Swift has guided and urged Kelce away from behavior that she’s deemed inappropriate. The NFL star is reportedly on board with much of his girlfriend’s boundaries. However, there are allegedly some things that he’s not happy about when it comes to living up to the global icon’s standards.
Taylor Swift Isn’t Taking Any Chances With Travis Kelce
“Travis is fine with Taylor giving him her thoughts and opinions on how to navigate such a public relationship. He really does appreciate it,” the insider dished. “He’s not so happy with some of the restrictions she wants in place, though.”
The source revealed that Taylor Swift has put her foot down about Travis Kelce visiting strip clubs, which he’s fine with. However, she’s also reportedly instructed him not to pose or post photos of himself with his female fans.
“[He] is fine not going to strip clubs anymore (that’s one of her hard rules), but Taylor also doesn’t want him posing for photographs with female fans, mostly to avoid inaccurate headlines,” the informant continued. “He had to roll his eyes at that one.”
Meanwhile, the most annoying rule for Kelce to deal with has been Swift’s FaceTime rule. The singer reportedly wants the football player to video call. This is so that she can see where he is and who he’s with. “Friends claim that Taylor has asked Travis to FaceTime her, not just text, when they’re apart. Taylor’s a good judge of character and fears that some of his buddies are red flags,” says the source.
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift allegedly says that she’s not setting out to change Travis Kelce. Instead, she claims his transformation is an evolution.
