Earlier today, Telltale Games released a “summer update” video that detailed their release schedule for the rest 2017 and into the beginning of 2018. They released news on The Walking Dead’s final season, Batman: The Enemy Within, and…wait for it…The Wolf Among Us season 2.

The second season of The Wolf Among Us, inspired by the comic series Fable, was promised to be released sometime next year in 2018. The first season was released about three years ago, introducing Bigby Wolf to the world. Wolf will be returning in the second season and fans can expect to make darker, tougher choices than before.

For years, fans of the series have bombarded Telltale Games with tweets full of questions, requests, and even threats concerning the status of The Wolf Among Us. One fan even went as far as tweeting at Telltale every day until there was news on a new season. If you’d like to see the personalities of the game read the tweets themselves, check out the summer update video below!

Telltale Games: Summer 2017 Update

Along The Wolf Among Us, Telltale also announced Batman: The Enemy Within will be released this summer, August 8, 2017. From the trailer shown during the update video, it looks like new villains like The Riddler and John Doe (The Joker) will possibly make an appearance in the newest season of their version of the Batman series.

Last, but not least, the fourth and final season of The Walking Dead will be released in 2018. The final season will focus on Clementine and her journey to find AJ after the events of Telltale’s The Walking Dead: A New Frontier. After Clementine became such an important asset to The Walking Dead series, the developers behind the game felt like it should end with Clementine.

Needless to say, fans of Telltale’s narrative games have quite a bit to look forward to in the coming months. Which of their announcements are you most excited about? Let us know in the comments below!
