A woman traveling to Tennessee for work says her hotel stay in Lawrenceburg became frightening after she was followed into the hotel and later discovered a man had remained outside her room for hours. She said the situation began after she returned from dinner and noticed a large group of construction workers staying at the hotel.

In the video, she said several men entered the elevator behind her after she returned to the hotel. Two got off on her floor and were staying in the room next to hers. About 10 minutes after she entered her room, the men knocked on her door. She did not answer, but they returned later, with one man calling out that they knew she was inside. She contacted the front desk, and an employee moved her to another floor.
The next day, the employee told her hotel staff had reviewed security footage. According to the woman, a different man later returned to her original room, paced outside, looked through the peephole and knocked for nearly three hours. She said he appeared to have a large object in his pocket. She also said the man had seen her arrive, watched her leave for food and followed her back into the Tennessee hotel. Staff showed her an image of his face so she could recognize him.
She later left the hotel and returned to Nashville. The woman said the front desk told her the men were linemen working in the area and that the hotel had contacted their employer. According to her, the man seen outside her room was subsequently terminated.
