Tennessee‘s favorite post-divorce guessing game just got answers from both players, and neither one disappointed. Days after Bunnie XO was caught on camera kissing Netflix reality star Dylan Wolf at Jelly Roll’s own Nashville bar, the Dumb Blonde host has addressed the frenzy head-on in a new episode of her podcast, and her verdict is simple: there is no romance.
According to TMZ, Bunnie, 46, told listeners she is not dating Wolf or anyone else right now. She insisted she has no interest in jumping into a relationship, framing the Fourth of July rooftop kiss as exactly what it looked like: a good time, nothing more. In her telling, making out under the fireworks was simply fun, and she is not apologizing for it.
She also swatted away the loudest criticism from the sighting, that locking lips with another man at her estranged husband’s business was disrespectful to Jelly Roll. Bunnie pushed back on that read entirely, explaining that Goodnight Nashville is where she feels “safe and protected.” Far from a shot at her ex, showing up there was, in her framing, the most natural thing in the world.
Dylan Wolf’s Response to the Bunnie XO Kiss Is Already Legendary
If her answer cooled the story down, his reheated it instantly. Reflecting on the viral kiss, the Calabasas Confidential star, 24, offered E! News a line destined for the quote hall of fame: “Sometimes a cowboy wants to hunt cougars and rabbits.“
The saga has moved fast. The pair was first spotted on July 4, when TMZ video showed them making out in the rooftop VIP section of Goodnight Nashville, a full 22 years between them, before Wolf stoked the frenzy with a cryptic TikTok teasing an “undeleted pod” with Bunnie. The new episode is effectively that promise kept, and her answer lines up perfectly with what she told fans back in June, weeks after Jelly Roll filed for divorce: “Your girl is not going to ever be in another relationship. I’m sorry to break your heart, guys. I’m about to be a player.” A kiss with no strings is, technically, exactly what she advertised.
The peanut gallery had takes for every taste. “Watching Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll navigate this post-split dynamic is a masterclass in unconventional boundaries,” one user marveled. “It’s chaotic, but clearly, their friendship is built different.” Others were blunter: “They split. His feelings dont matter anymore,” and, “None of any of our damn business.” The cynics see an expiration date: “They can try to be all friendly now but it will eventually boil over and turn to enemies.“
The bigger picture remains strangely warm. Bunnie previously revealed Jelly Roll started dating first with her blessing, both exes call the split amicable after nearly a decade together, Jelly Roll told a New York crowd last month that “no one was unfaithful,” and the two are still expecting a baby via surrogacy.
As for Wolf, cougar season appears to be open. Whether Bunnie lets him keep hunting is the only question left.
