Public figures and artists generally know how to manage their image, as their reputation is extremely important. However, there are always some who don’t seem to care about this at all and just spout off whatever is on their mind to the internet. One Tennessee star, Jelly Roll, apparently thought that ranting online about wanting to beat up a young employee was a perfectly fine thing to do. He said that he was going to a store with his elderly mother and saw the manager telling the staff to assist her. However, the staff didn’t seem to want to do it and pointed to another employee instead. That definitely wasn’t the right way to act as a staff member, but Jelly Roll was also very quick to snap as his anger built up.

He said that he wanted to slap the employee for daring to respond in such a way. According to him, he stopped himself from snapping and waited for his mother to finish shopping before leaving the store, only to return later.

The Tennessee star then immediately went back to confront the employee who had made him angry. It was unclear whether any violence actually occurred or if Jelly Roll was just screaming at the young worker, but the manager soon intervened and asked him to talk outside the store. That seemed to anger Jelly Roll even more, and he began ranting at the manager as well.

Later on, he shared the story online and recorded himself ranting about it while driving. The video ended with him saying that he would really like to turn things in the store into a scene from a movie, likely implying that he was ready to get violent because of the incident.

Understandably, many internet users did not share Jelly Roll’s opinion or anger.
“What an entitled psycho,” one user wrote. While many agreed that the Tennessee store employee was not exactly being polite or professional, that did not mean it was okay for Jelly Roll to threaten violence or even to have those kinds of urges in the first place. Many felt the man seriously needed to handle his anger issues better. “It’s always the ‘I’m so glad I’ve got Jesus or I would…’ that reveals the actual intentions. This is so weird, just calmly talk to the manager, you dingus,” another user wrote.

Others remarked that they were not surprised Jelly Roll was acting like this, as the man is already well known for his poor temper and personality. “Saying he wants to hit a young man (that he apparently believes is beneath him) ‘with the open hand of the Lord’ is right about when he proved he’s trash, and it only went downhill from there. Bragging about going back in to scream at everyone without regard for other shoppers, and implying that they aren’t worth his time, is next level douchery,” another commenter wrote.
