Terrified New York Man Screams For Help as Unmarked ICE Vehicle Abducts Him, ‘I Can’t Believe These Are the Times We’re Living In’

And no one helped

Lately, it seems we just see one heartbreaking situation after another. Whether it is something that affects us directly or those around us, it seems that we can’t escape the harrowing times we’re living in. To give you an example, not long ago, an unmarked ICE vehicle abducted a black man in New York. What’s really sad, however, is the fact that the man, who was already in chains inside the car, was screaming for help, and one even dared to approach him. It just shows that these scare tactics are working and getting worse with each passing day.

One concerned user shared the footage where an unmarked ICE vehicle detained a black man in New York. Many believe these agents are ICE because they tend to arrive in cars like this.

You can also see the man screaming for help and begging for someone to come and save him. However, bystanders walk by, ignoring the man’s plea. The few who approach him do so only to record, while others turn around and walk by.

While there isn’t any graphical violence, one thing that scared other witnesses and Redditors is the fact that the man was in chains. You can see halfway through the video that the victim tries to get out, and he’s chained to the car.

On the other hand, many people doubt that these are ICE agents. Since many immigration officers cover their faces and drive unmarked vehicles, many copycats and dangerous people imitate them. And since there are no consequences to these actions, practically anyone can don an ICE disguise, pretend to be them, and kidnap someone.

Still, it does seem like this is an ICE situation, as we know their tactics rely on never showing their faces, abducting people in public areas, and scaring those around them.

In any case, many shocked and heartbroken people shared their thoughts on the scary situation.

“And how do we even know that this is ICE? How am I supposed to believe that these monsters aren’t just kidnapping a man in broad daylight?” said one user.

“I can’t believe these are the times we are living in,” commented another person.

It is truly heartbreaking to see this. Yet it is, unfortunately, one of the many shocking events that happen across the country, sadly becoming normal in our daily lives. We can only hope for they to stop soon, but we don’t know when or if that will happen.
