A TikTok video has gone viral after capturing a terrifying near-miss on the highway involving a truck that failed to properly secure a stack of mattresses. The clip, shared by a Cleveland, Ohio-area family, shows a pickup truck hauling several mattresses loosely strapped down in the back. According to the poster, the driver of the truck seemed to purposely swerve in front of their car just moments before the inevitable happened, the mattresses flew off into the middle of the busy Ohio interstate.
The family, including a toddler in the back seat, was left shaken. “Yes I did call the police immediately after. Offered the video, they said they didn’t need it. I pray everyone was ok. Do better people! Almost killed us,” the driver’s wife wrote over the video, adding the hashtags #Cleveland and #BedfordExit. She added in another caption, “So this happened… God was watching over us.”
The footage sparked a wave of comments from viewers who said the video gave them instant chills, comparing it to a scene from a horror movie. One user wrote, “Final Destination fear activated.
