Anti-Gay Marriage Protestors with Cruel Signs Shamed by Texas Man

It’s been a long and arduous fight toward marriage equality in the U.S. With rights constantly being challenged and multiple pushes to have gay marriage rights overturned, many individuals rightfully fear for their marriages. A Texas man decided he wasn’t about to stay silent when he saw two women protesting gay marriage alongside a busy street in The Woodlands. As he said, it takes a lot of “intentional ignorance” for people to stand there and celebrate dissolving gay marriage rights at their roots.

TikToker @funsignguy is known for protesting political issues alongside the road through the use of signs. It’s clear he’s very serious about politics and stands up for what he believes is right in his own eyes. That’s why he wasn’t about to stay silent when he saw two women standing alongside a Texas road and protesting gay marriage. He says that “hate mongers should be ashamed” and to not be like these women.

Imagine the kind of person it takes to go out and do this. The vile nature. The intentional ignorance. Sad. Such much hate from so many people in this world. Hate mongers should be ashamed. #fyp #protest #lgbt🌈 #lgbt🏳️‍🌈 #gay

In the video, two women are standing on a sidewalk and holding up anti-gay marriage protest signs. One is wearing a red “Save America” hat and smiling as she holds her sign, which depicts, “Recriminalize gay marriage.” It’s safe to say she isn’t happy with America’s stance on recently legalizing gay marriage in previous years. Another woman stands next to her holding a “Stop being gay” sign.

When this TikToker pulls up to the two women, they greet him with big smiles. He asks, “Can you guys actually imagine waking up and saying, ‘This is how I’ll spend my Saturday?’ I’ll come out here and spread hatred to other human beings because nobody has ever shown me love.” The two women ignore him and keep holding their signs, whispering to one another behind his back. It’s clear he isn’t fazed, though. He scoffs and says, “So embarrassing. Ugh. My heart breaks for you fools.”

One commenter says that this is a prime example of “religious psychosis.” Another commenter stated, “Criminalizing love is a bizarre thought.” @Funsignguy said in his comments that one of the women also had her father there acting like a “bodyguard” while they were out protesting. According to him, he had a firearm attached to his hip. Definitely a sight to see.
