Having friendships and a circle of support is always essential for humans. But it’s usually in complicated situations when you find out who your true friend is. On Reddit, a friend comes out for their incredible sense of loyalty and concern for their best friend and roommate, who went missing 20 days ago in Texas. The roommate went out for a typical day of partying, but no matter how hard OP tried to look for him, they had no information.

Redditor Cultural_Train_9948 shared on r/legaladvice this worrying case as help for the user acidasher. Redditor acidasher is asking for help from the citizens of Texas, as they are very worried because their roommate and best friend has been missing for 20 days. According to the post, acidasher chatted with their roommate on the night of March 26th when he was going out with some friends, but after that, the phone stopped working. Users were quick to give their own advice for this serious case:

Have you filed a Missing Person Report yet?
Did you contact his place of employment to inquire/notify that he’s missing?
Have you called every hospital, jail, and detainment facility to check that he wasn’t picked up?

Acidasher searched hospitals and talked to the police, but they couldn’t do anything more since they had no clues. That is why the Redditor decided to call the friend’s mother, even though she and her son don’t have the best relationship. The strange thing is that the mother first said that her son was in the hospital, and two weeks later, she went to get the PS5 that she bought her son from acidasher and his friend’s house. But she did not give any information and only said the friend would return to live with her. This seemed a little strange to the Reddit user, so they should really file a Missing Person Report with the police, who talked to the mother. Although the police could not reveal what the mother said in the conversation, acidasher knows that their friend is neither with his mother nor under arrest or in a hospital.

For this reason, acidasher is concerned because they know that disappearing, running away, or going to live with his mother does not seem like something his friend would do. So this worried roomie asks for help from everyone, requesting:

“I’m one of the roommates. He’s been my friend for several years- he’s located in houston, Texas. He’s 21, black and queer.

Hopefully, there will be information soon that will help the missing boy’s roommates and ensure his safety.
